Revsport FAQs

Published Thu 27 Mar 2025

All this information can be found in email's from AusDBF over the last month.

1. What do I do if a member's expiry date is incorrect?

  • Any adjustments to expiry dates must be done at the AusDBF level.
  • Once a member is in expired status, an amendment to the expiry date cannot occur, and the member will need to rejoin.
  • If you need to adjust an expiry date of a current member, please email memberservices@ausdbf.com.au with the following info:
    • Member full name
    • Member national ID
    • Correct expiry date
    • Brief explanation of why the expiry date needs to be adjusted

2. What do I do if a member has paid, but they are showing up as unpaid in revSPORT?

  • This may occur if an invoice didn't reconcile properly. To rectify this, follow these steps:
    • View member profile -> click "Options" -> click "Invoice Member"
    • Click "Paid Invoices"
    • Select invoice of concern
    • Record the following details from the invoice:
      • Date issued
      • Reference
      • Payment method
      • Payment date
    • Click "Options" -> click "Unreconcile Invoice"
    • Click "Options" -> click "Reconcile Invoice" and input details exactly as previously recorded from the step below
  • These steps must be taken at all levels (AusDBF, state and/or club) where the invoice is showing as unpaid but should be paid.
  • Check the expiry date on the member's profile once complete, and email memberservices@ausdbf.com.au if the expiry date needs to be adjusted.

3. What do I do if a member has renewed but is not showing in the club portal?

  • More than likely, the member registered at the State or AusDBF level opposed to at the Club level. To rectify this, the member must re-register at the Club level with discount code provided at each level (i.e. AusDBF and/or State) as required to avoid duplicate fees.
  • Steps:
    • AusDBF and State to create discount codes for their associated fees.
    • Provide member with necessary discount codes.
    • Instruct the member to register via the Club portal using the discount codes provided for AusDBF and State to avoid paying double.
    • Once the member has correctly registered at the club level, check the expiry date. Email memberservices@ausdbf.com.au to adjust the expiry date as required.

What email do I use for accreditation related matters?
Please send all accreditation related matters to accreditations@ausdbf.com.au

Is there a specific format that I need to use when sending my documentation to accreditations@ausdbf.com.au?
Yes. Please send all documents as an attachment in PDF format.

Can I send a screenshot of each Sports Integrity Australia (SIA) badge? No. Screenshots will not be accepted. To obtain your SIA e-learning certificate, follow the below steps:

      • Complete all required SIA e-learning modules based on your situation (i.e. there are different requirements for Committee Members, Coaches, Sweeps, etc)
      • Once you have passed all required modules, select "download certificate." There will be an option to select all past badges or just current badges. Please select all.
      • Download certificate as a PDF document.
      • Attach PDF to an email sent to accreditations@ausdbf.com.au

I didn't receive a reminder about my expiry. Why?
It is possible that the auto-reminder from revSPORT went to your spam. Please check there.

Why am I receiving expiry reminders for something I have already sent through?
Auto-reminders are sent from revSPORT at specified intervals (usually 60 days, 30 days, 14 days and 7 days prior to expiry). There are a few reasons why you may still be receiving the reminder:

      • The auto-reminder was in the cache to send prior to AusDBF uploading your document.
      • There was a typo in the upload.
      • You may not have followed the correct process for a specific accreditation.

If you receive a reminder for something you've already sent through and/or have questions about the appropriate process for a specific accreditation, please send a follow-up email to accreditations@ausdbf.com.au and we will investigate it for you.

I submitted my First Aid documents to AusDBF, but my Sweep expiry was not extended. Why?
Members cannot reaccredit themselves as Sweeps. The correct process for Sweep reaccreditation can be found here. A snapshot of the process is below:

      • Requests for reaccreditation, including all required documentation, must be sent to your Sweep Coordinator.
      • Please attach all documentation as PDF documents showing clear images.
      • Incomplete documentation will result in the request for reaccreditation being denied.

Can I upgrade a member from a Dragon Pass to a paid membership?
No. Upgrading from Dragon Pass to a paid membership does not work in revSPORT. To move a Dragon Pass member to a paid membership, the individual must REGISTER/JOIN via the club portal and pay the fees.

What are the steps to change a member’s primary club if they have switched clubs?
If a member switches clubs, the new club will need to request a transfer from the old club so the member will appear in the new club’s portal.

Is it possible to transfer a Dragon Pass? For example, in the event a paddler signed up on a Dragon Pass and accidentally selected the wrong club.

Yes. Your State can transfer a Dragon Pass to a different club. Please reach out to your State for assistance.

Can someone on a Staff and Volunteer payment class paddle at AusChamps?

No. Staff and Volunteers (Non Paddling) should not be used for paddling members. Members who have this payment class linked are not recognized as being financial, and therefore, should not be paddling. Only people who are actual ‘volunteer’ non-paddling members should be linked to this payment class.

How do I correctly manage a transfer with subscription mode in revSPORT.

Please see this resource provided by revSPORT specifically for AusDBF to assist in managing transfers.

What is the process for Dual Club Memberships?
Please see this resource provided by AusDBF to assist in understanding how Dual Club Memberships work.

Revisiting expiry dates…There’s an issue with a member’s expiry date. What do I do?
As mentioned in Membership March Edition 1, expiry dates can only be corrected at the AusDBF level. Please check your members’ expiry dates, as whenever a member transfers to a different Club during the season or joins another Club as a dual member during the season, the expiry date is affected. If you have a member whose expiry date looks off or even worse, is missing (!), please email memberservices@ausdbf.com.au with the following information:

  • Member name (as in revSPORT)
  • Member national ID
  • Correct expiry date
  • Brief explanation of why expiry date needs to be amended

If you ever need support, please reach out to memberservices@ausdbf.com.au for anything revSPORT related and accreditations@ausdbf.com.au for accreditation specific matters.

Thank you!
