Below is a quick snapshot of resources and online webinars which are available for clubs.

3. Sport and Recreation Sector Scholarship Nominations

Women & Leadership Australia is dedicated to supporting women leaders achieve their leadership potential, and we are pleased to be able to offer scholarships of up to $5,000 for women working in the Sport and Recreation Sector. More information here.

The programs are designed for women with limited leadership experience through to executive leaders and scholarships are available across four key levels. This opportunity is open to all women working in the Sport and Recreation Sector and we encourage you to make this information available via your usual channels.

  • Women outside of formal leadership positions can apply for a partial scholarship of $1,000 for the Impact Program 
  • Early career managers can apply for a partial scholarship of $1,000 towards the Leading Edge Program 
  • Mid-level managers can apply for a partial scholarship of $3,000 towards the Executive Ready Program 
  • Senior and executive leaders can apply for a partial scholarship of $5,000 towards the Advanced Leadership Program

The Good Sports program supports and inspires 12,000 community sporting clubs to set up a better environment for players, volunteers, supporters, and officials. You’ll get expert support from the Good Sports team to build a club policy around tricky topics such as alcohol management, illegal drugs, smoking, mental health, and safe transport.
