This is Oli. Oli is 3 years old, he has a big sister that has started school and just became a big brother. Oli likes Thomas the Tank engine and cake!

However, unlike other 3 year olds, Oli is also fighting Neuroblastoma and is here in a hip brace after the tumour travelled to his femur.

Although he is being treated by the amazing staff at The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne the current toxic treatments mean he has a 50% chance. YRDs want to help Oli & his family, and to support more successful future treatment options.

On 1st and 2nd May, Yarra River Dragons will attempt to keep a dragon boat moving for a straight 36 hours to draw attention to this unfair situation and disease and are organising a fundraising event where they paddle non-stop for 36 hours along the Yarra River.  This event is to raise awareness and money for Neuroblastoma, which is the most common solid tumour found in children and takes the lives of more children under 5 years old than any other cancer.
