The advanced sweeps course is an opportunity for qualified Level 3 Sweeps to hone their experience and skills at a more advanced level.

The course will include both practical and theoretical components, including but not limited to:

• Lining up on a free start line
• Handling the boat in a cross wind
• Sweeping a boat going at different speeds
• Emergency procedures and capsize drill
• 2km racing practice and review of rules
• Practical experiences in 10s boats

*Catering will be provided for lunch

** Please note there is limited free parking in the Docklands area. To avoid any parking tickets while attending the course, it would be recommended to park in in Wilson's Parking  (800 Burke St) or Care Parking (370 Docklands Dr). Please allow some extra parking time and walking time to get to the Community Hub venue.
