This is a Paddle Victoria ( Formerly Canoe VIC) event. DBV is working with PV to include dragon boating as part of the event. The dragon boat category will be a time trial which consists of a series of laps around the 1.8km course on Lilydale Lake.

DBV will have up to four boats at the event depending on entries. Wave start times will be confirmed after entries close and the number of waves will be dependent upon entries.

7:30am Organizers arrive, launch safety boats, set up event, etc.

8:15am Paddler check-in (unload and dress dragon boats)

9:00am Volunteer briefing

9:30am Paddler briefing

10:00am First start

12:00pm approx. expected last finish (assuming longest race distance of 20 km, given lake size)

12:30pm presentations

1:00pm event close

2:00pm site clear
