Registrations for this event are closed.
If you have completed your required 10 hours or about to complete your 10 hours required to attend the DBV Level 2 Sweeps course, you are eligible to attend this course . If you wish to participate in the course, please make payment using the reference number indicated on the invoice.
Please note this course is dependent upon registrations. Refunds will be issued should the course be cancelled.
Course participants need to be approved by the sweeps committee to attend the course, email sweeps@dragonboatvictoria.com.au with any questions.
Participants are required to bring the original and a copy of their current log book, correctly signed by their club officials and Level 3 Sweeps participating in their training to date.
The theory part of the course will be held in the Community Boating Hub, Multipurpose Room, with the practical session on the water in Victoria Harbour. The course will commence at 9:00am sharp.
The course fee of $75 includes refreshments and lunch. Please advise if you have any special dietary requirements via the online registration.
All course materials will be provided for the theory aspect of the course.
Please bring appropriate clothes for on-water activities – sweeping yourself and paddling while others are completing their practical assessment. DBV will have PFDs available if required.
