What: Ashford Corporate Dragon Boat session

Where: Community Hub at the Dock and Victoria Harbour - 912 Collins St

Getting to the Community Boating Hub

• Car - parking available nearby or on Collins St
• Tram - route number 11 or 48
• Private chartered bus - DBV can provide parking on-site

Session: Three boats training on Victoria Harbour with 200m racing to finish

Equipment included for Participants: Life Jacket, paddle, water bottle, sunscreen

Facilities on-site: Change rooms, showers, toilets

Schedule:

• 9:30-45 am: Sweeps to arrive, briefing with DBV and Jen R
• 10:00 am: Ashfords arrive and meet and greet from DBV/Sweeps
• 10:30 am: Briefing commences (safety briefing, first aid on-site, PFDs on, advise where change room/shower/toilet facilities are)
• 10:45 am: Briefing concludes; boats in the water
• 10:55 am: On-water session, technique, training etc
• 11:45 am: Racing formats, min three races each boat.
• 12:15 noon: Session concludes - boats out of the water
• 12:30 pm: Presentation of winning boat
