This event has passed.
AusDBF has endorsed a Nationwide come and try opportunity for all interested in being involved in the Auroras. This includes athletes, coaches, clubs supporting athletes and those wanting to be involved in team management aspects.
The program will have David Abel touring the country before the Expression of Interest (EOI) call out for World Dragon Boat Racing Championships in August 2023. The Aurora Come n Try tour started in WA in June, Tasmania in July, and we are preparing to run the event at Dockland on 25th September. The program will cover:
1) What it means to be an Aurora
2) How to prepare for selection camp across the different divisions
3) How coaches and clubs can support
4) What it means to be involved in the management team
5) What’s the ongoing level of effort to be ready to compete
If you are interested, please complete this from here. The closing date for this event will be 17th September.
