Dear DBV Member,

You have been identified as completed your required 10 hours or about to complete your 10 hours required to attend the DBV Level 2 Sweeps course. If you wish still wish to participate in course, please make payment using the reference number indicated on the invoice. If your club is covering the cost, please advise and DBV will invoice you club for the attendance fee. The sweeps course is being run on the Melbourne Cup Regatta weekend to allow regional members to attend the course as well as the regatta on the same weekend. Also, please see the below course information:

Participants are required to bring the original and a copy of their current log book, correctly signed by their club officials and Level 3 Sweeps participating in their training to date.

The theory part of the course will be held at the Docklands Library, with the practical part at Shed 2. The Library opens at 10am and the course will commence at 10.15am sharp.

The course fee includes refreshments and lunch. Please advise if you have any special dietary requirements.

All course materials will be provided for the theory aspect of the course. 

Please bring appropriate clothes for on-water activities – sweeping yourself and paddling while others are completing their practical assessment. 

There is limited parking available at the Library, however restricted parking may be available at Shed 2. This would require approximate 1km walk to the library from Shed 2.
