Sun 29 Aug 2021 09:00 — 15:00
Event information
Registrations for this event are closed.
Any Members and/or volunteers who would like to be skilled in officiating are welcome to attend the course, which will help support and grow the sport in Victoria. Additionally, current officials may wish to further develop their skills and take the next step in the officiating pathway. The officiating pathway starts at state based regattas and can take you through to IDBF (international) regattas.
Please consider training as an AusDBF Official and support dragon boating in Victoria and Australia. Regattas cannot go ahead without Officials. The role of the Official is to provide a safe and enjoyable regatta for all paddlers. We have built a strong Officials Mentoring program in Victoria. We welcome new Officials from all Clubs and we guarantee you will be supported through your training program and at regattas.
Does your Club support the Officials’ Program? We’re aiming to have at least one trained Official from every DBV Club. Does your Club have a trained Official to assist in running regattas for paddlers?
Did you know that once you are trained you can officiate at regattas throughout Victoria and Australia
