DBV are seeking interest from clubs and members to get involved in the Moomba Festival 2022.
Confirmed Dragon Boat on-water exhibition program:
• Saturday 12th March: 1:30pm to 2:30pm
• Sunday 13th March: 10:30am to 11:30am

Exhibition on the Yarra River between Swan St Bridge and Morell St Bridge:
- 200m and/or 500m racing.
- Optional Dragon Boat tug-of-war feature.
- Optional opportunity for clubs on Saturday after the exhibition races to continue to train on the Yarra River section provided or further upstream.
Note: No timing equipment used or medals
Note: Loading/unloading pontoon available near Swan St bridge landing for paddlers at any time.
Logistics of boats:
1. Clubs wishing to participate in the exhibition races on Saturday are to paddle a boat from the Community Hub leaving at 11am-11:15am and get to the transit window of 12:15pm-12:45m ready for a 1:30pm exhibition.
2. Boats to be moored at Botanic Landing on the Yarra River at the on-water exhibition location overnight Saturday 12 March. Boats are then on-site ready for Sunday's exhibition.
3. Crew/clubs after Sunday's exhibition to paddle the boats back to the Community Boating Hub.
Transit window to get between Federation Wharf to Swan St to the on-water section provided.
1. Saturday 12:15pm to 12:45pm
2. Sunday 12:45pm to 1pm OR after 4:15pm to get boats back to Hub
Cost:
No charge for members and clubs.
Festival on-land Dragon Boating promotion area and requested assistance:
There will be a 3m x 3m promotional marquee in the main festival site with a small 10's Dragon Boat, banners/signage and more.
From Friday 11 March to Monday 14 March.
The opportunity is for members to promote the sport, individual clubs, display club signage and also offer the public to sign up to a Dragon Pass and more.

How to register:
- Clubs wishing to enter a boat/crew for either Saturday 12 March and/or Sunday 13 March via Revsport.
