Dragons Abreast Geelong welcome breast cancer survivors (and some very special supporters) to share the camaraderie of others travelling the same journey. The upper body exercise of dragon boat paddling has been proved to have an important role in breast cancer surgery recovery and improved lymphatic function. Our aim is to have fun, enjoy friendships, improve fitness and wellbeing, raise awareness of breast cancer & demonstrate that we can still lead a very active life after breast cancer. We encourage participation over competition. DA Geelong also participates in selected competitive regattas We train at the Geelong Canoe Club, Marnock Road, Newtown Saturday (all year round) 12.30pm.
